Alaso FC Falls Late In Haitian Cup Opener

Alaso FC opened the 2026 Haitian Cup with a competitive performance against a strong Inite FC side, but a late goal was enough to hand us a 1-0 defeat at Vailsburg Park.

The match was tight from the opening whistle. Alaso stayed organized, defended with discipline, and matched the intensity of a quality opponent throughout the night. Chances were limited on both sides, and the game carried the feel of a contest that could turn on a single moment.

That moment came late. After working hard to stay level deep into the match, Alaso conceded in the closing stages and could not find an equalizer before the final whistle.

There was still plenty to build on from the opening game. The group showed character, focus, and the ability to compete at a high level. The result did not go our way, but the performance gave the squad a strong base for the matches ahead.
