Captain Buries Late Penalty To Beat Grenadye FC

Alaso FC earned a hard-fought 1-0 Haitian Cup victory over Grenadye FC on Sunday night, with the deciding moment arriving in the final minutes from the penalty spot.

It was a tense match throughout at Vailsburg Park. Both teams stayed compact and disciplined, and Alaso had to stay patient while looking for the opening that would separate the sides.

That breakthrough finally came at the end. With the pressure rising late in the game, Alaso won a penalty in the closing moments. The captain stepped up with confidence and buried the spot kick to secure all three points.

It was the kind of result that can shape a season. The squad stayed composed, trusted the work, and found the winning play when it mattered most.
